The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is a globally recognised standard that requires organisations to build an information management system that keeps information safe and hedges against the risk of loss, damage, and other threats to information assets.
The standard was published by the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It sets requirements for creating a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS), including requirements for HR and personnel processes, processing financial information, software security, securing office premises, and more.
Companies like SeamlessHR that achieve the certification affirm that the security of financial information, intellectual property, employee information, or data entrusted to the organisation from third parties are protected, successfully managed, and continually improved according to global best practices.
