It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Mr Frank Ireri, a distinguished business leader, mentor, and member of the SeamlessHR Board, who passed away at the age of 63 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Frank was known for his sound judgement, compassion, and the genuine respect he showed to everyone he met. He led with thoughtfulness and sincerity, believing that true success is best measured by the positive difference one makes in the lives of others.
Throughout his remarkable career spanning banking, finance, and corporate leadership, Frank exemplified integrity and excellence. From his early years at Deloitte to senior roles at Citibank, Barclays Bank, and later as Managing Director of Housing Finance, he consistently demonstrated values-driven leadership. Under his guidance, Housing Finance underwent a transformative period that broadened access to home ownership in Kenya.
His association with SeamlessHR reflected that same conviction. Frank brought to our Board a combination of strategic insight and human understanding. His knowledge of African markets, coupled with his belief that technology should always advance human potential, helped drive our mission to empower people and organisations across the continent.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Frank was deeply committed to service. He chaired the board of Habitat for Humanity Kenya and served on the boards of AMREF Health Africa, AMREF Flying Doctors, as well as other initiatives that reflected his dedication to improving lives. In every role, he led with integrity, empathy, and a genuine desire to make things better.
We will remember Frank for his mentorship, his wisdom, and his unwavering commitment to doing what is right. His life reminds us that true leadership is measured not only by results, but by the values we uphold. His lessons and legacy will continue to guide us as we carry forward the mission he believed in.
